How did you end up at Medisol?

In the beginning of 2021, I was searching to do my second internship nearby in Vlissingen. After some research, I came on the website of Medisol and looked further what kind of company Medisol was and what they did. I applied for the internship vacancy and a few days later I received a call for planning an interview. When everything was settled, I received again a call from Medisol if I can began earlier before my internship to do some vacation work. In my vacation work, I started at the Service Center, where I am still working today.

What is your role at Medisol?

I am working as a Service Center Operator. Before this job, I finished my internship in the warehouse of Medisol.

What does an average day at Medisol look like?

I begin the day with a cup of coffee. Afterwards, we plan n the team all the important tasks for that day and we move on with that. The most common tasks I do on a average day are preparing the loan AED’s and service AED’s for shipment, servicing the AED’s that we receive from customers, have contact with suppliers and handle returning packages that we received. All in all, a good variety of things to do!

What drives you? Why do you do this job?

The main reason I do this job is because of maintaining and repairing the AED’s that we receive on a day-to-day basis. Because there are so many types of AED’s, it never gets boring. It gives me a thrill when the customer has a problem and I found the solution for it!

What makes it so much fun to work at Medisol?

The most important thing is the atmosphere in the company. The people here are not only my colleagues, but also my friends. The more people in the company that are Driven by Passion, the better you feel about coming to work every day and doing what you love the most.
