Sales Consultant

“It feels like working for a good cause. Someone in cardiac arrest is 70% more likely to survive if there is a rescuer with an AED nearby!”

How did you end up at Medisol?

Because Medisol moved to a building in Vlissingen, the company caught my eye. When the building housed a printing company, I came here as a child, guided by my father, who was director there. I immersed myself in the new company that came in and the company philosophy and the international character of Medisol really appealed to me, so I sent my CV.

How does an average day at Medisol look like?

On an average day I work with my team for the Netherlands on making an processing quotations and orders. There are short lines of communication with the employees of the warehouse and purchasing. I also answer the telephone questions from customers and process the questions that come in by e-mail. After the familiarization period to get to know all products and systems, my challenge is more on the sales side. Intensify customer contacts and bind new customers.

What drives you? Why do you do this job?

It feels like working for a good cause. Someone in cardiac arrest is 70% more likely to survive if there is a rescuer with an AED nearby!

What makes it so much fun to work at Medisol?

The informal and cozy atmosphere of a small company predominates, even though Medisol has already become so big internationally! I really enjoy surrounding myself with colleagues of different nationalities. Because the company is undergoing significant growth steps, there are opportunities for everyone to grow with it.
