“It feels like working for a good cause. Someone in cardiac arrest is 70% more likely to survive if there is a rescuer with an AED nearby!”

How did you end up at Medisol?

A couple of years ago Medisol moved to a new office and distribution centre. The news about Medisol moving to Vlissingen caught my eye. The old building housed a printing company which I visited many times as a child while my father was director of the printing division. I investigated the new occupant of the building and concluded that the company philosophy and the international character of Medisol really appealed to me as a working environment, so I sent my resume.

How does an average day at Medisol look like?

On an average day I work with a Sales Team for the Dutch marked processing quotations and orders, we intensify customer contacts and bind new customers. There are short lines of communication with the employees of other departments. Customer Service is also a big part of the job. We answer questions by phone and e-mail and give technical support where needed. A part of my weekly working hours I spend on the task of AED product Specialist to share my knowledge with my other colleagues.

What drives you? Why do you do this job?

It feels like working for a good cause. Someone in cardiac arrest is 70% more likely to survive if there is a rescuer with an AED nearby!

What makes it so much fun to work at Medisol?

The informal atmosphere of a small company predominates, even though Medisol has already grown so big internationally! I really enjoy surrounding myself with colleagues of different nationalities. Medisol is a young but fast-growing company and there are opportunities for everyone to grow with it.
