How did you end up at Medisol?
I first met Anne-Marieke, now CEO of Medisol, at a networking event. She spoke passionately about the company and its ambitions, which immediately sparked my interest. At the time, Medisol was looking for someone to manage its international key accounts, and I was ready for a new challenge. After meeting the management team, I joined Medisol as International Key Account Manager. From there, I moved into the role of Territory Manager North, leading the sales teams across the Netherlands, DACH and the Nordics, before becoming Sales & Marketing Manager. Today, I am the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), where I focus on strengthening Medisol’s commercial strategy and accelerating our international growth together with an amazing team.
What is your role at Medisol?
I am the CCO (Chief Commercial Officer).
What does an average day at Medisol look like?
My day usually starts with a quick catch-up with the team leaders of sales and marketing and the Board of Directors to discuss priorities and important developments. The rest of the day is a mix of strategic conversations, making decisions and collaborating with Safe Life and our international partners. I also spend time meeting potential new colleagues, as attracting and developing the right people is an important part of our continued growth. Never a dull moment at Medisol!
What drives you? Why do you do this job?
For me, it’s the combination of strategic thinking and the dynamic pace of our business that makes this role so engaging. I’m motivated by continuous improvement and growth, both in the market and within our organisation. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping people reach their full potential and seeing teams grow. Being able to combine that with work that genuinely makes a difference—helping save lives through our AEDs—motivates me to go the extra mile every day.
