Pieter Joziasse, CEO of Medisol and former student of HZ University of Applied Sciences, has been nominated for the prestigious HZ Changemaker Award. This prize is awarded annually to (former) students, employees or teachers of the HZ who have shown exceptional commitment to social impact and innovation.
Joziasse’s nomination is recognition of his prominent role as an entrepreneur with a social mission. With Medisol – supplier of AEDs and resuscitation products – he contributes both nationally and internationally to improving the availability of life-saving equipment. His leadership, vision and social commitment make him an inspiring example of how entrepreneurship and social impact can go hand in hand.
The HZ Changemaker Award is an initiative of the New Business Models lectureship led by Ageeth van Maldegem. During the annual HZ Changemaker Event, thinkers and doers with impact are put in the spotlight.
