Medisol Anniversary Campaign: 25 Free AEDs

Vlissingen (The Netherlands), May 2026 – To mark its 25th anniversary, Medisol is launching a special campaign in which 25 AEDs will be given away free of charge. With this initiative, the company aims to equip more locations with life-saving devices and improve the availability of AEDs.

An AED can make the difference within crucial minutes during a cardiac arrest. According to the Dutch Resuscitation Council, one AED can typically cover an area with a radius of approximately 500 meters. In theory, the 25 AEDs from this campaign could therefore make an additional area of around 19.6 km² accessible for rapid emergency response, comparable to roughly ten times the surface area of Monaco.

How does the campaign work?

Participation is simple and accessible:

  1. Complete your details via the form on the campaign page
  2. You will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of the 25 free AEDs
  3. Winners will be selected at random after the campaign ends

The campaign runs until June 30, 2026. Winners will be notified personally.

This anniversary campaign has an additional special significance, as it is one of the final initiatives under the leadership of CEO Pieter Joziasse, who will be stepping down. The campaign serves as a fitting conclusion to his contribution to Medisol’s growth and impact.

25 Years of Growth and Development

Since its founding on May 11, 2001, Medisol has experienced strong growth. What started as a small attic-based business has developed into an international organization with:

  • more than 20 webshops across Europe
  • multilingual customer service
  • operations in over 30 countries
  • a team of more than 80 employees

To date, nearly 100,000 AEDs have been brought to market through Medisol. This enables the company to contribute daily to faster response times in cases of cardiac arrest.

Mission: An AED Within 6 Minutes

For 25 years, Medisol’s mission has remained unchanged: to ensure that everyone has access to an AED within 6 minutes.

This ambition forms the foundation of all activities, from product development and consultancy to service and international expansion. Through initiatives such as the Saving Lives Foundation, Medisol also supports organizations that are unable to finance an AED themselves.

The Future

After 25 years, Medisol continues to focus on further growth and innovation. With the support of Safe Life Group and a strong management team, the current strategy will be continued, with ongoing attention to quality, accessibility, and impact.

The ambition remains clear: by 2030, everyone should have access to an AED within 6 minutes.
